The best crew in Starfleet, we have made first contact with 17 new lifeforms, seen at least a dozen planets with continents in suggestive shapes, and obliterated 3 civilisations with our Starfleet issued friendship guns.

A sort of soup of existentialism, nihilism and solipsism. We believe one must make things not exist by refusing to look at them. Object permanence is a sin. If a tree falls in the woods, do we care? Possibly not, but also maybe. It’s difficult to say.

Nicholas Luckham
Nick is, as is incessantly repeated on this site, an author. One assumes that repetition is the key to truth. Really it’s the writing of books that does it, and he has done that once so far.
He started as a musician over a thousand years ago1 when, smooth skinned and grey-less haired, he wandered the country playing a guitar and singing at people until they noticed. Notice they did, thankfully, and by all accounts had quite a good time. He played in bands and on his own, to crowds of many and, occasionally, to two people. He still does some musical stuff when the opportunity arrives and teaches guitar because passing on skills is our species’ whole deal.
He lives in Kent with partner Silvia (see below), her wonderful daughter, and two cats.
